恭贺我校学生Hussain雅思过8分

Hussain是我们学校一名备考雅思的印度籍学生，经过不到半年的学习，在Jerson老师的悉心辅导下，考取了总分8分的好成绩，我们为他感到骄傲，并且衷心祝愿其他学生都能取得优异的成绩。为此，我们特别邀请Jerson老师写了一篇教学感想，希望可以与大家共勉。

I congratulate Naziruddin Mohammed Hussain who took an International English Language Testing System (IELTS – General Training) on April 12, 2012 and got an over all score band of 8.0/9.0 (Listening - 8.0/9.0, Reading - 8.5/9.0, Writing - 6.5/9.0 Speaking - 8.0/9.0

Based on the above results, his listening, reading and speaking scores are closed to a perfect score of 9 except his writing test which needs more improvement to attain the desired highest score on this international English test that would qualify him to work in Australia.

With my assessment as an IELTS teacher, there is a need to organize his ideas associated with qualities of writing – coherence, unity and emphasis. In addition, he still needs to observe correct use of grammar and use of appropriate vocabulary which are vital to any writing tasks. But, overall he has achieved a very satisfactory total score band on his IELTS test in Singapore.
